Diamond Star Maricel Soriano talked about forgiveness to give inspiration to many people in time for the Lent.

In an interview by Boy Abunda on“SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon,” the actress said that it’s possible to love one’s enemy.

Like ordinary people, she said that she had hurt people in the past and as part of her penance this season, she said: “Kung hindi ko man makita ang taong nahingan ko ng mga patawad sa mga nagawa ko noong araw, alam ko nasaktan ko sila. Kung sino man kayo at nasaan kayo ngayon, alam niyo kung sino kayo, I’m very, very sorry from the bottom of my heart kung nasaktan ko kayo, I’m very, very sorry.”

The actress of the upcoming movie T2 (Tenement 2) said that she’s quick to forgive.

“Ang dali lang, kasi hindi ako nagtatanim,” Soriano said.

Soriano said that she’s very happy and when asked how she envisions her life twenty years from now, the actress replied through a song: “Alone at last in a hideaway, far away.”

“I don’t know where. I’ll never know,” she added.
