Rose Fostanes inks contract with Star Records
MANILA -- Filipina caregiver Rose Fostanes, who gained worldwide fame when she became the first grand winner of the reality show "The X Factor Israel," is set to embark on a showbiz career locally after she signed a contract with Star Records on Monday.
"It's my first time to sign a contract like this. Masaya pero nakaka-nerbiyos," Fostanes told reporters. "First time ko kasing ganito lalo na ang talagang trabaho ko ay caregiver at OFW kaya naninibago ako. Siguro dahil bago pa din kapag nasanay na siguro, okay na."
Fostanes admitted she still hasn't fully grasped how her life has changed after winning the TV talent contest.
"Hindi pa 100% lalo na ngayon at nadagdagan pa ng ganitong pagpirma," she said, noting that apart from her album for Star Records, she is also recording another album in Israel.
"Mayroon na kaming nai-record na dalawa pero sa sobrang busy 'di pa naipagpatuloy pero most of the songs, love songs. Kung 'di magkukulang baka kumuha kami ng konti sa ginawa namin sa live show," she said of her Israel album.
Fostanes also said she would want to perform a duet with Charice for her upcoming album. "Gusto ko yung boses niya ...may dating talaga," she said.
Aside from recording, Fostanes is also gearing up for shows back in Israel.
