MANILA, Philippines – Saying she can relate to her character Jenny on the Kapamilya Gold series “Angelito: Batang Ama,” actress Kaye Abad admitted she is “foolish” when it comes to love, at times to the point of being “selfish.”

During a live Q&A with fans of “Angelito” on ABS-CBN.com, Abad shared that like Jenny, she has experienced loving someone else in spite of being in a relationship.

“Ako, ganun ako eh sa totoong buhay, tanga ako sa pag-ibig,” she said. “Ganun talaga ako, at saka na-experience ko ‘yan, iba ‘yung mahal niya [habang may ibang kasama]. ‘Yung pagmamahal naman, selfish naman ‘yan eh. Masaya ka na as long as napapakita mo na mahal mo siya.”

Abad, whose character Jenny became a mom at a young age, also empathizes with her latest role. Asked if she were to be placed in a similar situation, she said she would see her pregnancy through.

“[Ang kailangan lang talaga] tatag ng loob at magsumikap. Lahat naman may paraan,” she said.

“Angelito: Batang Ama” will air its final episode on Friday (April 13).
