MANILA – The only thing Vhong Navarro regrets amid his ordeal is that he cheated on his girlfriend.

Navarro admitted this during his live interview on “Buzz ng Bayan” Sunday as he shared how he is coping from his traumatic experience in the hands of businessman Cedric Lee and several others last January 22.

Navarro admitted it is now difficult for him to trust anyone after what happened.

Medyo nawala sa akin 'yun, 'yung pagtitiwala,” he said.

Nonetheless, Navarro is grateful that the incident allowed him to realize who his true friends are.

Meanwhile, the “It’s Showtime” host said he felt relieved after the Department of Justice (DOJ) junked the rape complaint filed against him by model Deniece Cornejo.

While knowing that his legal battle is just beginning, Navarro said: “Haharapin namin ang pwede pang mangyari basta patuloy akong nagdadasal na sana matapos ng maaga at makayanan ko lahat.”
Last Thursday, the DOJ said it did not find probable cause on Cornejo’s rape complaint citing physical improbability in the model’s affidavit.

The DOJ, however, has indicted Lee, Cornejo, Bernice Lee, Simeon Raz, Ferdinand Guerrero, Jose Paolo Calma, and Jed Fernandez for the crimes of serious illegal detention and grave coercion.

The cases were filed before the Taguig City Regional Trial Court.

Aside from these cases, Navarro is also facing two other rape complaints.
