Yes, the final answer to the guessing game is: Vic Sotto will host the game show “Who Wants To Be a Millionaire? (WWTBAM?)” which is making a comeback, this time on TV5, effective May 23 (a Saturday).

TV5 is raising the jackpot from P1 million to P2 million. The “lifelines” for contestants are the usual three options: “Ask the Audience,” “50/50” and “Call a Friend.”

Asked how many millions it took TV5 to get Sotto’s nod, management was mum.

“We are just thrilled that he said yes,” said Jasper Evangelista, TV5 senior VP for Brand Management.
