Jericho Rosales on Wednesday signed an album project contract with ABS-CBN's Star Records.

"Musically it's going to be solid, 'yong quality niya ay maganda at siyempre love songs," Rosales, who is also a popular actor, said.

He said his album will be composed of original compositions and covered songs.

In the upcoming album, Rosales revealed that he personally chose Karylle to be part of the project.

He said he also hopes to work with great artists and seasoned musicians like Gary Valenciano, his son Gabriel Valenciano, Sugarfree, and Parokya ni Edgar in the future.

"Isa sa mga dream ko at pangarap ko na makasama si Francis Magalona but he died. Actually, last year pa sa concert namin we are trying to get him kasi kinalakihan ko siya, di ba?” he said.

Rosales, who released a self-titled album last year, started his singing career in 2006. He used to be part of the group “Jeans.” Before it disbanded, Jeans released an album under EMI in August 2006.
