David Archuleta watches Charice show at gay club
MANILA, Philippines – American Idol runner-up David Archuleta showed his support to Filipino singing sensation Charice after he watched the latter's performance at Club 57 in New York City last Saturday (April 17).
The online community is now abuzz over Archuleta’s night out at Club 57, a popular gay club in New York City in the United States, last Saturday. Gay rumors have hounded the American singer since he was spotted at the club.
In his Twitter page, Archuleta said he was at Club 57 to show his support for his Filipino friend, Charice.
The 17-year-old Filipino songstress performed “Pyramid,” her current hit single, and “I Will Survive,” but Archuleta did not sing, confirmed Charice’s mom, Raquel.
For Archuleta's part, he merely laughed off the gay rumors.
Archuleta tweeted: "Last night in New York I got invited to go and see my friend Charice perform. Mental note to self: always ask where before you go! Wasn’t my kind of place lol, and I had no clue! I guess you live and learn.”
“The upside was that Charice was awesome, and she has an incredible voice. Hope that clears things up! Been seeing some of the tweets.. sheesh! Can get crazy quick. NO worries all, I wouldn’t get into things like that intentionally haha. Hope you guys have a good Sunday!"
According to the "American Idol" finalist, Charice has apologized to him after the rumors surfaced.
"Charice is great and she didn't mean to cause any harm haha. She apologized a lot after. She's way nice lol," he wrote.
Last year, Charice did a duet with Archuleta for the latter's Christmas album.
Charice met Archuleta when she attended Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York in November 2008.
Gay Gibo & Gordon watches Charice show at gay club
One hot and humid night in Bangkok, Thailand, Gay Gibo and Gordon take a break from their campaign to let it all out. They sit on bar stools in a gay club and converse with each other:
Gay Gibo: (sigh) You know I don't know what to do after I lose in the elections.
Gay Gordon: Well, Olonggapo is a good place to work for "gays" like us. I worked with many Aussie, American and Brit pimps there you know. My government officials made a lot of money by supporting them and creating half-a-million hookers. It's a good business...better than Mar's idea of pimping through half-a-million call boys and call girls in call centers. Shucks! If only Pinoys would vote for us instead of that retard! Then we could make the entire country a whorehouse!
Lady Boy: Hi boyzzz! Can I offer you a massage?
Gay Gibo: Sawadee ka (Live long and prosper). Sorry, we're busy tonight.
Bar Tender: Hey tranny. Leave 'em alone. Don't you know who these people are? They're like Thaksin Shinawatra. They're politicians from the Philippines.
Lady Boy: Mabuhay (Live long and prosper)! I'm a red-shirt supporter tooooo! Byeee honeyyyzzz!
Aussie (to Gordon): Hey mate! Is that you?
Gay Gordon: How's it goin' mate. I haven't seen you in quite a bit.
Aussie: Yeah, I've been busy lately here in Bangkok. I miss the good ol'days when we caged those Filipinas in hidden basements that you and J.C. provided us. Your men are so helpful, mate!
Gay Gordon: Don't mention it! Just look for me or J.C. whenever you visit the Philippines. By the way, this is Gibo.
Gay Gibo (offering his hand): Nice to meet ya mate!
Aussie: Likewise!...Hey, haven't I seen you before? ...Yeah, you're one of my former customers!
Gay Gibo and Gordon laugh together.
Gay Gibo: Yeah, I'm married now. But I miss the good 'ol days.
Aussie: Well, maybe we can talk some business...
And so the night continues with all the gay festivities, parties and who-knows-what-else. They chuckle. They laugh. Everything is business as usual.
Gibo: Follow the Middle Way--Vote 4 the Lesser Evils
Gay Gibo: All candidates are so evil aren't they? So who should the people vote for?
Gordon: Choose the lesser evil -- It's a choice between the Pimp, the Crook, the Retard and the Whore.
Gibo: The Retard & the Whore is better than the Pimp & the Crook.
Gordon: That's right.
Gibo: People should follow the Middle Way then. They should vote for Noynoy and Loren.
Gordon: Mannn, you surprise me sometimes. You're a genius!
Rude David Archie Filipina fans
You should have included, how this news caused havoc on twitter courtesy of young Filipina David Archie fans. Thanks to them, people saw the bad behaviors of young filipinos acting like spoiled brats. Teens who think that they own the world and all the rights to say anything that just came from the depths of the sewer or hell. Even my American friends who are David Archie fans were shocked. They couldn't believe these kinds of behavior. After all, they said David is not a property and could do anthing he wants. A lot of them were really feeling sorry for Charice too. As she doesn't have any fault and she was hurled with the dirtiest of nasty comments. I hope that Filipino parents should watch or be aware of what their teens are doing and saying on the net. In this State where I live, bullying and cyber-bullying is a crime already punishable by law.
