Popular TV host now a happy wife
Before becoming a popular television host, Christine Jacob brought pride and joy to the country after winning a gold medal in the Southeast Asian Games’ swimming competition in Singapore in 1983.
Jacob’s father is a Scottish-American while her mother is a Filipina. She was born in the Philippines but her family migrated to the United States when she was still a baby.
Her parents were the ones who encouraged her to develop her skill in swimming.
She later joined the world of show business when she became one of the hosts of longest-running noontime show “Eat Bulaga!” After her hosting stint in the noontime program ended, she joined ABS-CBN’s “Magandang Tanghali Bayan.”
Aside from hosting, Jacob also tried acting. She appeared on several movies such as “Rocky” and “Kuya Kong Siga.”
She temporarily left her hosting job to focus on her family. She is married to Hector Sandejas and they have four children.
