MANILA, Philippines – The camp of actress Cristine Reyes has finally broken its silence following the libel charges filed by her sister Ara Mina against her.

In an exclusive interview with “The Buzz,” Reyes’ spokesperson Atty. Heather Annang said Reyes chose to keep quiet about the matter because she does not want to add to the controversy between her and Mina.

Annang said Reyes believes that the best way to settle the issue is to directly go to Mina and not to talk publicly.

Sa tingin niya ang pinakamainam na paraan para maayos ito ay diretso sa ate niya, pag-usap nila privately between the two of them,” she said.

Annang said Reyes firmly believes that the issue is just between her and Mina and they are the only ones who can resolve the problem.

It’s a misunderstanding between siblings. Away magkapatid talaga siya. Gusto talaga niya na magkabati na sila ng ate niya,” she said.

Annang said Reyes is already trying to reach out to Mina.

“Nag-reach out siya through text sa ate niya.

Meanwhile, Annang appealed to the public to leave the sisters alone so they can resolve the problem peacefully.

Bigyan muna sila ng space and time na ayusin among themselves ang issue,” she said.
