Megastar Sharon Cuneta has voiced out her wish to do and produce independent movies.

"Pakisabi sa mga indie [producers and directors], commercial ko lang, baka gusto nilang kuning artista ako," Cuneta said.

Cuneta had co-produced independent film "La Visa Loca," which starred actor Robin Padilla.  The actress, however, said she still needs to learn lots of stuff “so that I could do more” independent movies.  

"I'd like to learn and do it properly so I could do more... Kasi ang importante, if I do something, dapat alam ko na from A to Z," the actress said. "Madali kasing maglabas ng pang-finance but you want to do it right."

She added: "That's one of my dreams. I want to do it right para 'yong una kong independent film, pagtama at  kumita, marami akong matutulungan. I want to give back para maraming artista, bago o luma, ay hindi mawalan ng trabaho at magkaroon ng trabaho."

Cuneta is set to star on Star Cinema’s "Best Friends Forever" alongside Comedy Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas.
