Now that showbiz princess KC Concepcion and her father Gabby Concepcion are both ABS-CBN contract stars, the next question on the minds of fans is this: Will KC eventually star in a film with her father and her mom--none other than megastar Sharon Cuneta, of course--and thus have a whole family, even just on-screen?

Sharon and Gabby had the most popular romantic tandem in Philippine showbiz during the 1980s, producing hit after hit at the box-office.

They were married in 1984 but separated in 1987.  In 1995, Gabby left for the US to start a new life, away from the scandals of show business.

Sharon married lawyer (now Senator) Francisco Pangilinan in 1986. They have two daughters.

Gabby returned to the Philippines on March 30, with the intention of reviving his acting career.

Knowing the huge demand for a revival of the Sharon-Gabby team-up, KC said that she would love to star in such a movie with both her parents.

"Of course kasi doon nabuo ang pamilya namin sa pelikula so parang 'yun 'yung perfect venue ng pagsasama namin," she said.

However, the young star also added that it will a tough job getting over her mom's reservations--Sharon is worried about the possible harm to her family that rumors and intrigues would cause.

Pero sana one day," KC said.

Big responsibility
And when asked if she could convince her mother to make this fantasy into a reality -- a film with Gabby, KC replied: "Parang isang malaking responsibilidad po 'yon isang bonggang responsibilidad hindi ko alam kung kayo kong anuhin.

KC believes that her father will be proud of her job in her first film.

KC expressed faith in her dad, who was arraigned on April 30 for case filed by the Civil Registry of Manila in 1996. He is being charged for an "omission" he made when he applied for a marriage license.

The truth will set him free.

"I love him and I'm praying for him and kahit anong mangyari ako positive thinking palagi kasi naniniwala ako na kapag positive yung thinking yun ang ma-a-attract sa buhay mo," KC said.

KC had her acting debut on the ABS-CBN drama anthology "Maalala Mo Kaya." She also recently starred in her very own month-long television series "I AM KC."
