MANILA, Philippines – Action star Robin Padilla recently climbed Mt. Apo, the highest mountain in the Philippines, to support the call for reforestation.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Padilla said he is hoping that more Filipinos would become aware that deforestation is a problem that we should not ignore.

Padilla said if only every Filipino would plant a tree, the consequences of deforestation would not be too evident in the country.

Padilla urged everyone to start planting trees.
