MANILA, Philippines – American singer and actress Jennifer Lopez might just stop by the Philippines in her upcoming concert tour along with Latin superstars Enrique Iglesias and Wisin Y Mandel.
Lopez announced this during a press conference held in Los Angeles, California on Monday.
The “American Idol” judge said she and the rest of the team will definitely hold shows across the United States first but they are planning to also take the show around the world.
“I know that we’re [supposed to go] first across the States. We’re talking about doing international later in the year,” she said.
Asked if it is possible that they visit the Philippines, the singer-actress replied: “It’s very possible. It’s very possible.”
Lopez said her Filipino fans’ presence on the social networking site Twitter is very formidable and she would love to visit the country soon.
“I see them on Twitter, all the Filipino fans, so yes I would love to go there,” she said.
During the press conference, Iglesias also noted that her mother, Isabelle Presyler, is Filipino.
Lopez’s second husband Cris Judd is half-Filipino.
