Derek Ramsay to join Frisbee tournament in Korea
MANILA, Philippines - Almost 3 months after he underwent knee surgery, actor Derek Ramsay is flying to Korea to join the annual Ultimate Frisbee tournament.
"I'm leaving for Korea for the Jeju tournament. It's a big tournament held once a year. A team of all-star players asked me if I can play for them," Ramsay told "SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon."
"Pero this is a lot harder competition. We are talking about great Frisbee players in Asia and a lot of great Frisbee players around the world," the universal leading man added.
The “Habang May Buhay” star had injured his right knee while playing Frisbee. On February 5, Ramsay finally underwent a 40-minute surgery after delaying the operation for months.
After his operation, he underwent therapy every other day.
Last month, he was given a go-signal to play his favorite sport again.
