Concepcion wants public apology from Albie's camp
MANILA, Philippines – Model Carlos Concepcion, who has been reported as one of the friends of actress Andi Eigenmann, is demanding a public apology from the camp of actor Albie Casiño.
This comes after Casiño’s mother, Rina, claimed Concepcion was among those who attacked the actor outside a Makati bar late Friday night.
In an official statement released on Monday, Concepcion reiterated that he has nothing to do with the beating incident.
“I am not involved in any way over the beating of Albie Casiño. I was not even in Fiamma that night, I was at home,” he said.
Concepcion said he can prove his whereabouts during the time of the incident. He also said he has never actually met Casiño.
“I've never even met the guy. And if they need proof of my whereabouts, they can contact me. And I’d like a retraction or an apology once the truth is out there,” he insisted.
Aside from Concepcion, Casiño’s mother accused three other men -- Frank Magalona, Jeck-Jeck Lacson and Neil Arce – of assaulting her son at the parking lot of Fiamma.
Magalona has also denied involvement, while his mother, talent manager Pia Magalona, is urging an investigation of the incident.
ABS-CBN News has tried to contact Lacson and Arce but they aren't answering their phones. -- With a report by Gretchen Fullido, ABS-CBN News
