Andi: My mom never hit me
MANILA, Philippines – Actress Andi Eigenmann denied that her mother Jaclyn Jose used to beat her whenever the veteran actress got drunk -- an accusation thrown by actor Albie Casiño’s mom.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Monday, Rina Casiño expressed her disappointment after Eigenmann accused her son of physically abusing her when they were still together.
“Sobra na para sabihin mo na binugbog ka ng anak ko. Tama na ang kasinungalingan mo. It’s too much, Andi. Too much,” she said.
Mrs. Casiño also reminded Eigenmann how she used to run and cry to her when Jose hurt her.
“Sa akin ka tumatakbo noon para sa mommy mo. Ito alalahanin mo, umiiyak ka sa akin about your mom na alcoholic, na beating you up kapag nakakainom kaya nila-lock mo ang door mo. Kaya ayaw ko magsalita dati kasi I was still protecting you,” she said.
Eigenmann, however, was quick to refute this statement.
“I know it doesn't matter because it's up to the viewers to decide. But for the record, my mom never hurt me. NEVER,” Eigenmann posted in her official Twitter account right after Mrs. Casiño’s interview aired on “Bandila.”
In her tell-all interview aired on “The Buzz” on Sunday, Eigenmann revealed that her former boyfriend physically abused her when she was just two months pregnant.
Eigenmann also said Casiño threatened to ruin her career.
