The non-celebrity girlfriend of John Lloyd Cruz has refused to comment on a persistent rumor that she and the young actor had officially broken up, an entertainment show reported Sunday. 

“The Buzz” reported that stylist Liz Uy declined to give any statement on her relationship with Cruz.

“He is in New York and I want to enjoy my time in Paris,” “The Buzz” quoted Uy as saying.

Cruz is in New York to shoot some scenes for his next film. Uy, on the other hand, is vacationing in Paris with her celebrity friends.

The show also reported that Uy laughed off speculation that there was a third party involved.

An online column claimed that Cruz and Uy had separated last February when the young actor was busy promoting the box-office hit “You Changed My Life.” It also claimed that Sarah Geronimo, Cruz’ leading lady in the movie, might be the reason for the break-up.

The actor’s handler declined to give any statement when reached for comment, according to the “The Buzz.”
