'100 Days to Heaven' dominates primetime block
MANILA, Philippines - After topping the global trending topics of microblogging site Twitter on its premiere episode, ABS-CBN's newest television series bested other national TV programs on Monday, a ratings survey reported.
Coney Reyes and Xyriel Manabat's "100 Days To Heaven" led the primetime race on its pilot episode with 32.1%, according to Kantar Media/TNS.
Completing the top 5 list are ABS-CBN's TV series "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin" (30.8%), "Mara Clara" (29.2%), "TV Patrol" (25.4 %), and GMA-7's 24 Oras (21%).
In an interview with Showbiz News Ngayon on Tuesday, Manabat expressed her gratitude for the successful premiere of "100 Days To Heaven."
"Hello po sa mga sumusporta sa '100 Days To Heaven'. Salamat po sa inyo, manood po kayo ng '100 Days To Heaven', pagkatapos po ng 'TV Patrol'. Thank you po," she said.
"100 Days to Heaven" also stars Jodi Sta. Maria, Dominic Ochoa, Valerie Concepcion, Smokey Manaloto, and child actor Louise Abuel.
The TV soap airs daily right after “TV Patrol.”
