Sexy actress Ara Mina denied reports that she described actress Jean Garcia as an "old woman". Garcia has been romantically linked to actor Polo Ravales, who is Ara's ex-boyfriend.
"Wala (akong sinasabi), at saka lately hindi ako nakakapagbasa ng mga showbiz news, so wala akong masasabi kung sila man as in wala, as in swear to God,” Ara said.
Ara was reacting showbiz buzz that she is still bitter over her break-up with Polo and is responsible for the rumored break-up between him and Jean.
"Hoy sobra naman... no, no hindi ko sinabi at kung may nagsasabing ganoon baka hindi ako yon. Pero sa itsura niya hindi siya mukhang matanda, kumbaga wala sa age yon, kung titignan mo ang itsura niya parang dati pa din. Maganda ang mukha ni Jean, wala akong sinabing matanda si Jean," Mina said.
(That's too much. I never told anyone that I thought Jean looked old. Just look at her. She's beautiful. I never said she's an old woman.)
The actress also refused to comment on reports saying Ravales and Garcia already parted ways.
"Ayaw kong makialam kasi hindi ko din nakakausap si Polo, hindi ko din nakakausap si Jean, wala, wala akong connection sa dalawa." she said.
Ara did admit however, that there's a rift between her and sister Cristine Reyes, who recently joined ABS-CBN and will star in the teleserye "Eva Fonda, 16", a remake of the original film starring Alma Moreno.
Ara however refused to detail the reasons for the rift, saying she would rather address the matter privately.
Ara had just turned 29 last May 9, Friday, and she spent her birthday at a pictorial with her co-stars in ABS-CBN's upcoming television series "Wildflower."
The actress said she is really blessed because of outpouring projects she's now receiving.
Mina will again portray a villain role, just like she did in ABS-CBN's afternoon series "Prinsesa ng Banyera" opposite actress Kristine Hermosa.
