MANILA, Philippines -- Rina Casiño, the mother of young actor Albie Casiño, said she is open to reconciling with young actress Andi Eigenmann and her family.

Following the controversial brawl that ensued moments after Albie and his former girlfriend Eigenmann met at a bar in Makati City, Rina said she wants "peace and forgiveness" when the dust has settled.

Over the week since the night Albie was assaulted by a group of men at Fiamma, various accusations from past brushes have been hurled at each other by both camps.

Rina, in an interview with ABS-CBN News earlier this week, claimed that Andi had told her that actress Jaclyn Jose, mother of Eigenmann, hit her when she (Andi) was under the influence of alcohol.

Eigenmann, on the other hand, also decided to bare all in an interview, enumerating past indiscretions allegedly committed by then-boyfriend Albie over news of her pregnancy.

Despite the deepening conflict, Rina in an interview with "Showbiz Inside Report" on Saturday said she is open to make amends with the Eigenmanns in due time.

"Sana [maayos], lahat naman tayo gusto niyan 'diba. Gusto natin peace and forgiveness. Sana matapos talaga," Rina said.

'Mother and daughter'

Recounting her close relationship with Eigenmann, Rina said she couldn't help but feel betrayed by the young actress as criticisms hurled at Albie started to spread over his alleged irresponsibility as a father to his baby with the "Agua" star.

"'Yung closeness namin ni Andi was like mother and daughter talaga, that's why I also feel betrayed with what happened du'n sa controversies na lumabas," Rina said.

Rina said that as a teenager, Albie can and will make mistakes, but added that if he hadn't been in show business, their family would have chance to avert public scandals.

"Hindi naman perfect 'yung anak ko, 'di ba? Teenager 'yan. But at a very early age, 17, he was facing all these controversies, dapat nag-eenjoy siya ngayon. He's turning 19 on Monday, it's his birthday.

"Minsan sinasabi ko, sana hindi na lang [siya nag-showbiz], sana tahimik na lang 'yung buhay namin, walang gulo," Rina said.
