Lim, who has been vocal of his admiration for Chiu, is running no short of sweet gestures for his “My Binondo Girl” co-star.
After serenading Chiu on the set of their last television series last Christmas, Lim kicked gift-giving up a notch by planting a tree of roses inside the young actress’ home for her birthday.
At the time, Chiu said she didn’t know who had given her the flowers. Little did she know, her siblings had connived with Lim to make her feel special on her birthday.
“Red roses, angdami-dami.
On her siblings’ relationship with Lim, Chiu said they occassionally eat out with the young actor, who has since formed a growing friendship with them.
Asked what his intentions are in surprising Chiu, Lim said he merely wants to see the young actress happy.
“Masarap lang makita si Kim na ngumingiti, na masaya,” he said.
Chiu and Lim, who formed their friendship on the set of “My Binondo Girl,” will be reunited in ABS-CBN’s upcoming drama series titled “Ina, Anak, Kapatid."
They will join stars Enchong Dee and Maja Salvador in the new soap, which will be directed by Don Cuaresma and Jojo Saguin.
