Derek Ramsay and Kris Aquino
MANILA - Actress-host Kris Aquino apologized to Derek Ramsay on television as her movie with the actor will not push through.
On Monday's episode of "Kris TV," Aquino said she was not allowed by her boss, ABS-CBN's Cory Vidanes, to do a movie with Ramsay.
Aquino made the statement when Erik Matti, the director of her supposed movie project with Ramsay, was brought up in her conversation with actress Sunshine Cruz.
"Speaking of Erik Matti, nakausap ko si Tita Cory Vidanes and I was told, 'you tell Regal hindi pwede.' So yun na. So, I apologize, Derek Ramsay. I'm sorry, I'm obeying my boss," Aquino said.
Last week via her Instagram account, Aquino said she hopes that her movie with Ramsay will push through.
Aquino's last movie was the Metro Manila Film Festival 2013 hit "My Little Bossings" with her son, Bimby.
Aside from her morning show "Kris TV," Aquino also co-hosts the primetime talk show "Aquino and Abunda Tonight" with Boy Abunda.
