Abunda: Kris Aquino not distributing cash to Noynoy voters
MANILA, Philippines – Contrary to a circulating text message, Kris Aquino is not giving away free cellphone load and cash to the public as her brother, Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, continues to maintain his lead in the election count, her close friend said Wednesday.
On “SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon,” host Boy Abunda issued this clarification as he warned the public against the “fake” text message.
According to the text message, the money and free load were tokens of appreciation supposedly from Kris after the public's overwhelming support for Noynoy's candidacy.
"Kung kayo po ay nakatanggap ng isang text message mula di umano kay Kris Aquino na nagsasabing maari kayong magkamit ng pera, load or free text bilang pasasalamat sa kandidatura ng kanyang kapatid na si Senator Noynoy Aquino, nais lang po naming iparating sa inyo na wala pong katotohanan ang text message na ito,” Abunda said.
“Ito po ay fake at hindi ninyo dapat paniwalaan. Nawa'y mag-ingat po ang ating mga Kapamilya. Maraming salamat po," he added.
In her Twitter account, Kris denied that the text message came from her. She tweeted: "PLEASE DON'T BELIEVE! Super FAKE! "
Kris is Abunda’s co-host on SNN and “The Buzz,” a celebrity talk show that airs every Sunday on ABS-CBN.
Kris went on leave from SNN to campaign for Noynoy, a presidential candidate, full time. She is scheduled to return to the show on May 17.

Hey bra, when we go to sleep at night, there is no guarantee that we will wake up from our slumber, right? Yet we plan the days ahead because we have hope. Why take this away from everyone that has chosen their hope?
Perhaps you are right that we are a bunch of bobobo, pero you had been wrong in your assessments prior to the election. What makes you think now that you are right? Who cares what CNN said. Others opinions is not going to make or break the Philippines. It's our problem and if we really care out of spite, you should be helping our countrymen towards unity and in supporting the new administration. You know what they said, if you have nothing good to say.......then don't say it!

Kris doesn't need to do that
I believe Abunda. Kris doesn't need to do that, because most Filipinos are too dumb to realize that they voted to power a person who has no idea how to run a government.
12 years in service and no track record. Na-mention tayo sa CNN hindi niyo ba alam? Binoto daw kasi ng mga Pilipino si Noynoy na wala namang track record kahit matagal na sa office. Nakakahiya talaga. Pero yan ang tunay na dahilan kung bakit hindi umaangat ang buhay ng maraming Pilipino.
Ang mga corrupt, ginagamit ang mga mahirap. Matatanggal lang ang mga corrupt kung tuturuan ang mga mahirap na mag-sipag sa buhay nila para hindi na sila magamit pa. Habang maraming tamad, maraming mahirap. So nandiyan pa rin ang corruption.
Eh nagkataon ang binoto sa puwesto eh tamad din. Paano tayo uunlad niyan? Ang bobobo ng maraming Pilipino talaga.

Okay joke aside if possible, it's rather funny how some people can just jump to a conclusion without differentiating the sarcasm within the suggested idea of self exile. I mean her statement suggested if she ever become a burden to Noy as a POTROP (President of The Republic of Philippines<------hey, I like that acronym, I'm going to brand that from now on. Whenever we are at a crossroad
Whenever we are at a crossroad or find ourselves between a rock and a hard place, some of us may wonder if there is a God and if God is really is looking out for the Filipino people. My answer to that is of course, that there is a God. God is in each and everyone of us. We have the power to look out for ourselves. The outside forces, the corporations(ABS-CBN) who continually bombard us with false information are the ones who benefit when we lose the battle with our own demons.
Now that Noynoy Aquino wins the Philippine presidential race, the majority of the Filipino people lost the battle with their own demons, succumbed to popularity over substance, and therefore sealed their fate. Seriously, I wanna say to Cory, ” Why did you die last year and let this f*cked up country be f*cked up more?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe God just said, ”Filipinos get what they deserve- Noynoy Aquino, the dumbass.”
