Aba, kailangan lang naman na suportahan niya si Kabayan! Kung hindi sa mag-asawa baka palaboy-laboy na lang si Willie sa kalsada dahil sa mga kalokohang pinaggagawa niya. Di ba?

“Wowowee” host Willie Revillame is willing to support Vice President Noli de Castro, popularly known as “Kabayan,” if the latter decides to run for president in 2010 elections.
“Ang manager ko unang una si Tita Arlene [Sinsuat], ang maybahay ni Kabayan. Siyempre, alangan namang lumipat pa ako sa iba. Malaki ang paniniwala ko kay Kabayan… Pag nag-declare si Kabayan, siyempre Kabayan ako. Sasamahan ko ‘yan,” Revillame told reporters during the groundbreaking ceremony of his “Wil Theater Mall” Wednesday.
Although admitting that he rarely sees the vice president and has little knowledge about his work, Revillame, nevertheless, praised him for his projects, particularly low-cost housing, that benefit the poor.
De Castro is the concurrent chairman of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) and the Home Development Mutual Fund, or Pag-IBIG Fund.
De Castro has yet to declare his bid but he is perceived to be one of the strongest presidential candidates in the upcoming elections. He has been topping opinion polls of independent survey organizations, although his lead over other aspirants is small.
Not interested in VP
When asked if he was willing to become de Castro’s vice president, Revillame said: “Gusto ko ang buhay ko ‘Wowowee’ lang. Bakit ako tatakbo ng vice [president]? Dahil sa popularity ko?”
An individual must run for public office only because he is prepared mentally, emotionally and spiritually, Revillame pointed out.
Revillame also shunned the seeming endless squabbles among politicians.
Before he endorses anybody, Revillame assured that he himself will find out the agenda of that candidate. He said it is up to the people to decide whether to vote for the contender he is endorsing or not.
“’Yon ang pakikiusap ko. Kung sino man ang ie-endorso kong presidente, pakikiusapan ko ang bawat pamilya na maging solid tayo dito para manalo. Ang hinihiling [ko lang] pag oath-taking niya (president), kasama lang niya ako. Hindi niya ako kailangang bayaran. Historical ‘yon (oath-taking) sa akin,” he said.
Everybody’s welcome
Meanwhile, Revillame said politicians are welcome to make an appearance in his top-rating noontime show.
It was in his game show that Sen. Manuel “Mar” Roxas II and veteran broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez announced their engagement. Sen. Manuel Villar Jr. also made a special appearance on Wowowee to cheer for his daughter, Camille, who was a contestant then.
“Ang Wowowee, programa ng bawat Filipino yan. Nagkataon lang na pulitika sila… tingnan niyo kung anong klaseng tao ang mga itong tumatakbong presidente,” he said.
He added that it was his idea to invite Roxas and Sanchez to his program. He, however, pointed out that he would not have done it if the big bosses of ABS-CBN disallowed him.
On reports that Kris Aquino was upset after Roxas and Sanchez made the announcement on Wowowee, Revillame cleared the couple, saying it was his idea to invite Roxas and Sanchez.
Roxas and Sanchez reportedly promised Aquino to announce their engagement in her show, Showbiz News Ngayon (SNN).
