For the first time after the premiere of Star Cinema's "Best Friends Forever (BFF)", Megastar Sharon Cuneta and husband Sen. Francis Pangilinan finally shared their views on Gabby Concepcion's cameo role in the movie.

In an interview with "SNN:Showbiz News Ngayon," Cuneta said she was grateful that her ex-husband Concepcion agreed to be part of her comedy film with Ai-Ai delas Alas. "Nagpapasalamat kami at pinagbigyan kami ni Gabby," Cuneta said.

Cuneta also said that her husband had no qualms about Concepcion's appearance in the film. "Naku cool na cool 'yan (referring to Pangilinan), sobra. Alam niyang dead na dead ako sa kanya," she quipped.

The senator said that he just wanted to make the fans and supporters of his wife happy. "Well siyempre para masaya 'yan at masaya 'yong mga nanonood. So walang problema 'yon (Concepcion's role)," Senator Pangilinan.

Meanwhile, Concepcion and Cuneta's only daughter KC Concepcion said she was happy that her mother and father are now on good terms. The actress also shared that she was present during her father's filming.

"BFF," Star Cinema's Mother's Day offering, is Cuneta’s first venture into comedy after a long hiatus and Delas Alas's first comedy film with one of the best dramatic in the Philippine cinema. The film tells the story of two best friends who are unaware that they are after the same man.

Cuneta plays the wife of a character (played by John Estrada) while delas Alas plays the role of a gym instructor who helps Cuneta reduce weight. In the process, they develop a friendship that will last "forever." But who knows what will happen to the pair when Estrada gets attracted to delas Alas?
 
The film also stars Joy Viado, Empress Schuck, Miles Ocampo, Enchong Dee, DJ Durano, Chokoleit and Ms.Gina Pareño.
