Megastar Sharon Cuneta finally reacted to the issue that her eldest daughter KC Concepcion is reportedly "getting closer" to her new on-screen partner Piolo Pascual.

In an interview with "SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon," Cuneta said she has nothing against anyone who gets closer to her daughter as long as KC will be treated with respect.
 
"(Sabi ko nga), anybody [who] threats my daughter with respect and who takes care of her is welcome in our home," Cuneta said.

She added: "[KC]'s 24. [She] never gave me a major headache. And this guy (Piolo) is very respectable so I always feel that she's in good hands. She is safe when they are together," Cuneta said.

The Megastar's reaction budded from reports saying that Pascual and Concepcion are getting along very well, possibly even being linked romantically.

The pair were even spotted together during the premiere of Star Cinema's Mother's Day offering "Best Friends Forever", starring Cuneta and Concert Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas.

Currently, Pascual and Concepcion are busy taping for their first television series "Lovers in Paris." Prior to their current project, the two already admitted that they already went out on a date a few years ago. The two stopped seeing each other when Concepcion decided to travel to Paris.
