Rafael joins cast of Vi's 'In My Life'
After the controversial break-up with former girlfriend Malaya Lewandowski, actor Rafael Rossell is proving that he is already moving on as he busied himself in Star Cinema's upcoming film "In My Life."
Rosell said that he will be playing the role of a man who will help the other main characters in the movie, Luis Manzano and John Lloyd Cruz. In the film, Manzano and Cruz play a gay couple who are finding their place in the United States.
"It was awesome... great working atmosphere. I'm a friend of Luis and John Lloyd. I grew up in New York sa movie I will help them out settling down sa New York. Kunwari local lang ako," Rossell said.
He said that contrary to speculations he will not be doing a gay role. "I'm not a gay. I'm sorry to disappoint you but I'm not a gay [in the movie]," the actor said.
The lead star of the film is “Star for All Seasons” Vilma Santos who is also governor of Batangas province.
Aside from being happy with his new project, Rossell said he has also moved on after the incident last April when his car was carjacked.
"Para sa akin kung anuman 'yong material things ay mababawi naman 'yon. Wala namang problema 'yon. Just work hard, make bawi what you lost. Pero if life was taken, wala nang magagawa," Rosell said.
Rossell was in New York while shooting for scenes of "In My Life" when reports said that his vehicle was carjacked. The actor’s driver and neighbor were reportedly wounded in the incident.
Rossell is a member of “Coverboys” and part of ABS-CBN’s “Precious Hearts Romances” alongside Mariel Rodriguez.
