MANILA - Actor-singer Xian Lim finally addressed rumors that he and leading lady Kim Chiu might do a Filipino version of the hit Asian series "Meteor Garden."
Appearing on "Mornings@ANC" on Tuesday, Lim said there's no truth to the rumors.
"I think sa Internet lang nagkakaroon ng parang discussion about it, but I don't think (it's true)," Lim said.
"No one has told us, nababasa lang namin. Sabi nga namin, 'Wow ang galing ha. Mas alam pa nila kaysa sa amin," he added.
"Meteor Garden," which starred Barbie Hsu and the quartet of Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Vanness Wu and Ken Chu, collectively known as F4, is currently being aired again on ABS-CBN.
Meanwhile, Lim is busy promoting his newest album "XL2" under Star Records.
Xian Lim performs singles "Di Na Bale."
Aside from his album, Lim is also gearing up for a new movie and a series.
"We are starting taping next month and it's for a movie and a teleserye. So huwag kayong mainip, guys! Malapit na malapit na," Lim said.
