A group allegedly in possession of the sex video of popular cosmetic surgeons Dr. Vicki Belo and Dr. Hayden Kho has demanded P4 million in exchange for the non-proliferation of the private video, a lawyer confirmed Sunday.

Belo’s lawyer, Adel Tamano, said the group purportedly approached Kho, not Belo, and claimed that it had in its possession “the master copy of set of videos.”

“And that, if he wanted them back, he had to pay them P4 million,” Tamano told “Dateline Philippines Sunday.”

 “We received information that such sex video has been released in public but up to this point in time, we have not yet gotten a copy of it,” he said of his client’s sex video with Kho.

Tamano earlier made known that Belo and Kho, who were former lovers, had a sex video. He said it was “consensual” and done for “purely private consumption.”

“At this time, all that I can say is that it was only Mr. Eric Chua who had access to the hard drive that contained the videos,” he added.

Chua, Kho’s friend who reportedly had a falling out with the cosmetic surgeon, is being accused of spreading Kho’s sex videos with other women, including actress Katrina Halili.

Chua, a computer expert, was “tasked by Dr. Belo to delete all the videos in that hard drive,” Tamano said.

He also maintained that Belo is also a victim in the sex scandal.

“We are asking the public, because there are a lot of people who are interested in seeing all these videos, perhaps they can decide not to purchase these videos... particularly because the parties in these videos did not have these videos taken with the expectation that it would be made public. These are purely private videos,” he said.

Tamano also warned: “Once we find out who are the people that are responsible for uploading and disseminating, we are gonna run after them to the full extent of the law.”

Belo’s lawyer, meantime, clarified that his client is not an accused in the investigation of the proliferation of Kho's sex video with Halili. He maintained that Belo is a resource person in the ongoing probe.

When asked about Belo's whereabouts, Tamano said she is spending time with her family during “these very painful and difficult times.”
