Hayden Kho seeks Edu Manzano's help
Dr. Hayden Kho says he wants to get to the bottom of the sex scandal, too.
The controversial cosmetic surgeon on Tuesday sought the help of Optical Media Board (OMB) to determine the group behind the proliferation of his sex videos with actress Katrina Halili and other women.
During their meeting in a Quezon City restaurant, Kho admitted to OMB chairman Edu Manzano that a man, he identified only as Chris, called him last May 16 to demand P4 million from him in exchange for the sex videos.
“Hindi ko po kilala si Chris personally pero siya ang nag-a-ask ng P4 million. Hindi [para sa kanya], according to him, may grupong humihingi,” he said.
A source of ABS-CBN News said Chris is a son of a politician.
Kho said he himself could not understand why anyone would spread the videos on the Internet.
“And the main target actually is me. The main prey is me,” he said.
As for Eric Chua and Bistek Rosario, the cosmetic surgeon admitted that they were his friends. He said Chua runs a computer shop while he met Rosario in a medical school.
Chua and Rosario were reportedly responsible for the proliferation of the videos.
“Ang lagi kong kasama [dati] si Eric. Almost every day kaming magkasama. ‘Yong nakilala ko si Bistek medyo nilayuan ko si Eric. Kasi medyo bad influence siya sa akin,” Kho said.
Manzano, meanwhile, clarified that the purpose of his meeting with Kho was for him to determine the modus operandi of groups involved in optical media piracy.
The OMB chairman feared that the group behind the spread of Kho’s private footage might mass produce pirated DVDs. Each DVD, Manzano said, might contain more than 30 sex videos.
“[Ito ay] para ma-identify ang mga taong involved at ma-identify ang establishments na siyang may kinalaman sa mass production ng mga pirated optical media,” Manzano said. Alex Santos, ABS-CBN News
