Emotional Charlene lauds Aga for election fight
MANILA – Television host Charlene Gonzales fought back tears as she talked about the experience that she and her husband Aga Muhlach went through during the recently concluded mid-term elections.
Speaking on “The Buzz” where she’s one of the hosts on Sunday, Gonzales said Muhlach’s perseverance to seek a congressional seat so he could serve the people only made her love him “a hundred million more times.”
“During this whole process, I say I’m proud of Aga because he showed so much strength. I admire him even more today because 'yung laban ni Aga, there was a point in time na it wasn’t about Aga anymore but about the fight for the people,” she said.
Amid the accusations of cheating during the elections, Gonzales said she is proud because her husband fought for what he believed in.
Felix William "Wimpy" Fuentebella was declared winner in the tight congressional race for Camarines Sur’s 4th district. Fuentebella got 82,834 votes against Muhlach’s 80,629 votes.
