Charice takes on Italy's 'Rai Uno'
International singing sensation Charice is now gearing up for her second appearance in one of the most popular TV shows in Italy.
In an exclusive interview with Charice's mom, Racquel Pempengco confirmed that she and her daughter will be guesting again on the popular musical variety show "Ti lascio una canzone (I'm Leaving a Song for You)."
"Magi-Italy pa kami. 'Yon iyong isang TV show, 'yong highest rated show sa Italy yong 'Rai Uno', " Racquel said. She added that the Rai Uno show's producers were so thrilled with Charice that they asked her to sign a contract obligating to her perform again on the show.
"Nag-perform na siya noon. Bago pa man siya kumanta ay pinapirma na kami ng kontrata na babalik siya. So ini-schedule agad kasi rehearsal pa lang, practice pa lang ay nata-taranta na sila. Gusto nilang bumalik talaga (si Charice)," she said.
According to Mrs. Pempengco, Charice is set to perform in Rai Uno before the end of this month. "'Yong sa Rai Uno ay [May] 23 taping 'yon [tapos] May 31 ang airing nila," she said.
The mother also confirmed that Charice will be the sole guest on the show for that special episode.
Just last May 18, Charice unveiled her first international single, "Note To God," on the hit American talk show “The Oprah Winfrey Show.” It became one of iTunes's and Amazon.com's bestsellers just hours after the world saw her sing it live for the first time.
Charice and her mother are currently in the United States to complete her first international album, which is scheduled to be released later this year. She is also set to stage her first solo concert this coming June.

I think she gets it. The only thing im quite not getting is how you had paraphrased what Oprah said. I saw the episode myself and how you had worded it is quite incorrect.
