MANILA – Two of Coco Martin's former leading ladies extended their full support during the premiere night of the Kapamilya actor's big-screen team-up with Sarah Geronimo.

Present during the red carpet event of "Maybe This Time" on Tuesday night were Angeline Quinto, who was Martin’s co-star in "Born to Love You," and Julia Montes, who was the actor’s partner in "A Moment in Time."

Both movies were also under the production of ABS-CBN's film outfit, Star Cinema.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Martin said he is glad that his former co-stars still got his back even if he’s now paired with Geronimo.

"Masaya po ako kasi sabi ko nga po may mga maganda kaming," he said, pausing for a laugh. "May maganda kaming samahan sa bawat trabaho."

Both Quinto and Montes were linked to Martin although none of them officially became his girlfriend.

Meanwhile, Montes and Quinto said they are happy to be at the premiere night of "Maybe This Time" not just for Martin, but also for the Pop Princess.

"Yes naman, sobrang excited ako kaya po ako nandito ngayong gabi. Ngayong gabi kasi gusto ko sanang kiligin at ma-in love, feeling ko mafi-feel ko yun sa movie na ito. [Nandito ako] to support Sarah and Coco," said Quinto.

"Super excited kasi ito yung napaagang February ng 2015. Deserved naman talaga [ni Coco] kasi talagang maalaga siya so ito yung give back namin sa kanya, to support," said Montes.

Written by Melai Monge and Anton Santamaria, "Maybe This Time" centers on former sweethearts Tonio (Martin) and Steph (Geronimo) as they cross paths again years after he left her without closure.

Steph, who works in a PR firm, is tasked by her boss, Monica (Gutierrez), to get Tonio a makeover in time for the opening of a new bar. Matters turn complicated when Steph learns that Tonio and Monica are in a relationship.

"Maybe This Time" is a co-production between Star Cinema and Viva Films and is under the direction of Jerry Lopez Sineneng.

It hits theaters nationwide today, May 28.
