Too much work stress for 'Santino'?
Zenon Jaranilla, the father of popular child star Zaijan Jaranilla or more popularly known as "Santino," dismissed reports saying that his eldest son is overworked.
In an exclusive interview with abs-cbnNEWS.com, Mr. Jaranilla admitted that his son, whom he described as active and playful, lost a lot of weight but insisted that the "miracle boy" grew just a bit taller.
He stressed that they are providing all his son's needs from healthy food to regular medical check-ups. May monthly check-up po 'yan," he said.
Jaranilla said he believes that Zaijan's skinny frame is normal, since he himself is a small and thin man. The young-looking father is reportedly just six inches taller than his celebrity son.
Zaijan, who started as a television commercial model, recently played the role of "Tony" on ABS-CBN's "Komiks Presents: Mars Ravelo's Tiny Tony."
To see more of Zaijan, watch "May Bukas Pa" nightly on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida after TV Patrol.
