'Tayong Dalawa' contrabidas friends in real life
They are arch-enemies on television series “Tayong Dalawa” but in real life Cherry Pie Picache and Agot Isidro, two of the most seasoned actresses in show business, are friends.
During the TV show’s thanksgiving party, Picache and Isidro shared that being good friends is the key to the successful portrayal of their contrabida roles.
"Kasi nga we are friends and wala kaming inhibition. And give and take [kami]," Isidro said.
Picache added: "Kaya siguro nagwo-work ‘yong scenes namin, we don't do it for ourselves, give and take."
In the series, Picache plays the role of Marlene, the mother of JR Garcia (Gerald Anderson), while Isidro portrays the character of Ingrid, the mother of Dave Garcia (Jake Cuenca).
The two have been receiving good reviews from the public and Picache said she is happy "that people really appreciate our roles."
