MANILA - Actress Bea Alonzo has laughed off a rumor linking her to Dr. Hayden Kho’s sex videos.

Alonzo, an endorser of Belo Medical Group where cosmetic surgeon Kho used to work, said she was never introduced to the embattled doctor.

“Please, ha. Hindi ko siya nakilala ever. Kahit sa Belo clinic, kahit sa Belo shoot.  Ever!” the actress told ABS-CBN.com in an interview.

Rumor has it that Alonzo was one of the many women whose lovemaking was videotaped by Kho.  The actress vehemently denied the rumor.

She said when she first learned about it she merely shrugged it off. The actress, however, admitted that she is now getting bothered by the speculation, saying that people might take it as the truth.

“Alam mo noong una,  hindi ako nag-wo-worry  as in, tinatawanan ko lang siya. I’m starting to get bothered kasi habang pinag-uusapan siya ng mga tao feeling nila totoo na.  Kasi kapag nagpapasalin-salin sa dila ng ibang tao nagiging totoo to them.”

Alonzo's denial came after Brazilian television host Daiana Menezes distanced herself from the sex scandal.

Another video?

If talk on her alleged sex video with Kho did not upset her, Alonzo got worried about another rumor. 

There is a speculation claiming that she was caught in a video while she was dressing inside a Belo clinic. She said officials from the Belo Medical Group had already assured her that it was not true.

"With that, bothered ako. I hope hindi,” she said.

She lamented that such nasty rumors could affect her work as she pointed out that she has an image to protect.

“May endorsements ako… may movie ako. Sana tigilan na nila ‘yon. Sana hindi nila ako isali kasi nananahimik ako,” she said. Julie Bonifacio, ABS-CBN.com
