Will Angel Locsin do a remake of 'Himala?'

MANILA - No one can beat the performance played by superstar Nora Aunor in her hit film “Himala.”
According to actress Angel Locsin, it would be difficult to play Aunor’s original role.
"Mahirap po 'yon mapantayan walang makakapantay. So imposible talaga," Locsin said.
Locsin reacted to speculations that she is being considered to star in the remake of the movie.
"Himala," or Miracle, is an award-winning Filipino film directed by the late Philippine National Artist Ishmael Bernal. Written by Ricky Lee and Sergio Lobo, the film became the first and only Filipino movie to be included in the “Competition Section” of the prestigious Berlin International Film Festival.
The remake issue of “Himala” started when Locsin read an excerpt from the movie in one of Lee's fan conventions. Lee even commented that Locsin fits the main character Elsa (Aunor).
The “Only You” star, however, said she went to the convention just to give praise to the superstar.
