MANILA, Philippines – Sen. Francis Pangilinan is not jealous of actor Gabby Concepcion, who is the former husband of Sharon Cuneta.

“No, I am secure,” Pangilinan, Cuneta's second husband, said when asked if he got jealous following the recent television reunion of the megastar and Concepcion.

He added in jest: “Alam ninyo maliwanag sa akin na anong magagawa natin patay na patay si Sharon sa atin.”

The senator also said what’s important is that the TV reunion would help in promoting the upcoming movie of his adopted daughter, KC Concepcion, titled “I’ll Be There.”

“Okay lang. Wala namang problema ‘yon. Ang mahalaga ay natutulungan nilang i-promote ang pelikula ni KC,” Pangilinan added.

Pangilinan and Cuneta, who got married in 1996, also have 2 daughters, Simone Francesca Emmanuelle and Mariel Daniella Sophia.

In “I’ll Be There,” KC worked with his biological dad, Concepcion, for the first time.

The film will hit theaters next week.
