Vic Sotto thrilled to work with Ai-Ai
MANILA, Philippines - Prince of Comedy Vic Sotto shared his excitement over his upcoming movie with Comedy Concert Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas.
Speaking to ABS-CBN News, Sotto said: "Gusto ko na ngang mag-shooting eh, pero medyo maaga pa."
The Box Office King also said he is looking forward to working with another comedy icon in a very big and promising project of ABS-CBN's movie outfit Star Cinema and M-ZET Productions.
"Oras na maging official entry ang aming konsepto, ang aming proyekto, we'll start working on it. Pre-production muna. This is a big movie and we have to come up with something really big," he said.
The first on-screen partnership of Sotto and delas Alas will be a fantasy-romance film, the TV host-actor revealed.
Prior to this collaboration, Sotto starred in Star Cinema's film "Pak! Pak! My Dr. Kwak" with actress Bea Alonzo.
On divorce and RH bill
Meantime, Sotto divulged his stand on two controversial measures being tackled in the House of Representatives -- the Divorce bill and the Reproductive Health (RH) bill.
On the RH bill, he said: "I'm not for legalizing abortion pero sinasabi naman nila na walang ile-legalize na abortion.
Sotto, who had failed relationships in the past with actresses Coney Reyes, Dina Bonnevie and TV host Pia Guanio, revealed his stand on divorce.
"Medyo I'm in the middle but I'm not really for it. Mayroon na rin namang annulment, so we go through a lot ng mahabang proseso," he said.
That's what I'm worried about. I don't know. It's up for debates. - Report from Mario Dumaual, ABS-CBN News
