MANILA, Philippines - TV host-comedienne Pokwang cried not because of her love life but because of "Wowowee"'s first guest co-host action star Robin Padilla.

In an interview with "Showbiz News Ngayon", Pokwang turned emotional when asked about why the female co-hosts of the hit noontime show cried when Padilla bade farewell .

"Kasi siguro mami-miss namin yong tratong binigay niya sa amin, yong respetong ibinigay niya sa amin," Pokwang said.

"Sorry pero naiiyak na naman ako. Kasi sa kanya namin naramdaman na babae pala kami. Sa kanya namin naranasan yong kalayaan para i-express kung ano yong ginagawa namin sa trabaho. Saka very vocal siya sa amin kung ano yong nararamdaman din niya. Kaya sobrang nami-miss namin siya," she said.

Padilla hosted "Wowowee" for two weeks after the show's main man Willie Revillame took an indefinite break.

Pokwang said that if she has the power, she will still put Padilla back on the show.

"Oo, kung bibigyan lang kami talaga ng pagkakataon," the comedienne said.

Pokwang said that she also misses the times when Padilla says "I love you" to her.

"Madalas lagi siyang naga-'I love you' sa akin. Pero yong 'I love you' niya sa akin wala namang pagnanasa," laughed Pokwang.

Aside from missing Padilla, Pokwang also gave hints on the real score between Padilla and "Wowowee" co-host Mariel Rodriguez.

"Ito na nga, bakit sa akin palagi siyang naga-'I love you' pero nakikita ko naman ang kilos niya," she said.

Asked if she believes that Padilla and Rodriguez are really falling in love for each other, Pokwang said: "Sinasabihan ko nga si Mariel: 'Ikaw yong mga mata mo, akala mo hindi ko nababasa tumi-twinkle twinkle.' At ito pa ang isang rebelasyon. Hindi ko alam ang phone number ni Robin pero si Mariel magka-text sila. Unfair."

Pokwang said that she is just hoping that love will finally find its way to the hearts of Rodriguez and Padilla for the simple reason that she wants Rodriguez to be happy.

"Sana, kasi gusto ko maging masaya si Ma. Sabi ko nga 'gusto ko happy ka,'" Pokwang said.
