MANILA, Philippines - Actress Erich Gonzales left for Thailand on Monday to continue shooting “Suddenly It’s Magic,” her upcoming film with Thai heartthrob Mario Maurer.

Actress Erich Gonzales says she will leave for Bangkok to continue shooting 'Suddenly It's Magic.'

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Gonzales said she will be staying in Bangkok for three weeks along with other Thai actors.

“I am leaving today, pupunta po akong Bangkok. Magsu-shooting po ako ng ‘Suddenly It’s Magic.’ Makakasama ko po doon si Mario at iba pang Thai actors. We'll be there for three weeks po ata. Halfway through na (kami sa shooting). So far so good,” she said.

The actress said she is looking forward to the foreign location shoot because it will definitely feel like a working vacation.

“Parang libre ang pasyal na din po dahil lilibutin namin 'yung magagandang lugar doon at ita-try namin yung masasarap na pagkain doon,” she said.

Gonzales said she and Maurer recently finished shooting some scenes in Ilocos, where both of them had fun.

“Nag-shooting na po kami sa Ilocos, he is very nice, very cool. Kid at heart si Mario, napaka-playful niya. He's very focused sa Tagalog lines niya po,” she said.

Gonzales first met Maurer when he visited the Philippines in October 2011.

“Suddenly It’s Magic” tells the story of a romantically jaded Filipina baker who meets a Thai superstar who visits the Philippines to escape from his busy career.
