John Prats finally talks about break-up with Bianca
MANILA, Philippines – Actor John Prats has finally broken his silence regarding his recent break-up with beauty queen Bianca Manalo.
In an interview with reporters, Prats said he is also going through a rough patch but he chooses not to show it – especially on TV – because he does not want his work to get affected.
“Mahirap talaga pero ganun talaga. Sometimes you have to separate your personal life, lalo na sa trabaho ko kasi hindi naman ako pwedeng maglungkot-lungkutan at mag-emote-emote-an sa ‘Banana Split’ kasi mukha naman akong sira ulo. But siguro dahil na rin sa surroundings ko, sa staff [na] light kasama at siguro ganito lang talaga ako as a person, positive lang ako,” he said.
But Prats admitted that there are still times when he can’t help but think about it and just feel sad.
“May mga moments lang na minsan magsi-sink in lang sa ‘yo and that’s part of it, eh. Part naman ‘yun ng process and then eventually happy na,” he said.
“Siyempre nakakalungkot na ganun ang mga nangyayari and siguro totoo ang sinabi ni Miss Kris (Aquino), kapag blessed ka sa isang bagay, sometimes hindi lang talaga nagwo-work and sa isang bagay,” he added.
Despite what happened, Prats still hopes that things will soon be okay. He also wishes Manalo well.
“I’m hoping na for our happiness, of course happiness din naman niya ang wini-wish ko [kay Bianca], iyon lang. Sana maging okay lang ang lahat at lahat maka-move on na,” he said.
For now, Prats is thankful that he has a lot of work that keeps him busy after the break-up.
“Sobrang okay ako ngayon na marami akong ginagawa kasi ang focus ko nandito lang talaga. Siguro blessing na rin siguro na wala akong ibang iisipin, as in ito lang talaga,” he said.
The actor added that he would like to enjoy being single.
“Kapag naglungkot-lungkutan ka, you invite negative stuff and never akong naging ganon. Sa lahat naman ng pinagdaanan ko, I tend to forgive and ang status ko ngayon, moving forward and trying to enjoy my singlehood and my work,” he said.
