MANILA – Veteran broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez has disclosed some details of her much-talked about wedding with Sen. Manuel “Mar” Roxas II.

Sanchez confirmed that James Yap Jr., or popularly known as baby James, son of host Kris Aquino and cager James Yap, will be the ring bearer.

"Binubuo pa namin 'yong entourage. Of course, baby James will be the ring bearer pero the rest of the entourage wala pa," Sanchez told ABS-CBN News.

The announcement came after Aquino and Sanchez's camp had settled their misunderstanding.

It would be recalled that Aquino  had publicly expressed her dismay when the couple chose to announce their engagement on popular noontime show “Wowowee.” Aquino claimed that Sanchez and Roxas had promised that the announcement would be done on her entertainment show "Showbiz News Ngayon."

Aside from baby James, Sanchez also disclosed that one of their principal sponsors will be Rosa Rosal. The movie icon was also present during Roxas’ pamamanhikan Saturday.

Well-known musician Vehnee Saturno also composed a song for their wedding, the broadcast journalist said. The same song was also played during the pamamanhikan.
 
"Nanonood siya noon ng 'Wowowee' [at] according to him na-inspire siya sa palitan namin ng  salita. So gumawa siya ng kanta, pinadala niya sa akin 'yong 'Kahapon, Ngayon at Bukas...Ako ay Iyong Iyo.' So pinakingan ko. Very kantable, maganda ito," Sanchez shared.
