MANILA - After the apparent reconciliation between Claudine Barretto and husband Raymart Santiago, it seems trouble is brewing anew between the two camps, this time over an alleged attempt to "sabotage" their efforts to settle their differences.

On Wednesday afternoon, Barretto took to her social media accounts to address Santiago's lawyer, Atty. Ruth Castelo, about supposedly stirring problems again in her family.

Her post read, unedited: "Ruth i told u Do not test me! maayos na sana lahat till u opened u BIG MOUTH AGAIN!ok na sana lahat for both parties dakdak ka pa kasi ng Dakdak.ayan gulo ulit! does it make u happy na d maayos ang Family namin bcoz of YOU????!!!!Get a life!"

Barretto's tirade came a day after Castelo, in a statement published on Philippine Entertainment Portal, responded to a claim made by Barretto's legal counsel, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio, that she is "sabotaging" the efforts of both parties to end their feud.

Topacio earlier criticized Castelo for supposedly expressing doubt in Barretto's sincerity to invite Santiago to a dance recital of their 10-year-old daughter, Sabina, last May 29.

In her statement, Castelo stressed that all her earlier pronouncements in the media were with the consent or upon the instruction of Santiago.

Explaining why their camp doubted Barretto's invitation to watch Sabina's performance, Castelo pointed out that the actress made scathing allegations against Santiago three days after she made the invitation.

"Let me also remind my opposing counsel that his client came out with an interview that her marriage to my client is fake, and accused my client of attempting to kill her in that alleged shooting incident THREE DAYS after the invitation to the dance recital was made. Who in his right mind will not doubt the sincerity of such invitation?"

Following the confirmation of their separation in June last year, Barretto accused Santiago of "physical, sexual, psychological and economic" abuse, supposedly dating back to 2002.

These are detailed in her legal complaint against the actor for his alleged violation of of the Anti-Violence against Women and Their Children Act of 2004.

Santiago also alleged that he was a victim of domestic violence. In his complaint, the actor accused his wife of being mentally ill and having a history of drug abuse, claims backed by the actress' estranged siblings Gretchen, Marjorie, and JJ.

Both Barretto and Santiago have repeatedly mentioned the welfare of their children in explaining why they took the spat to court, and why they are seeking sole custody of the kids.
