MANILA - Megastar Sharon Cuneta revealed that she is set to have a cameo role in the comedy film "Oh My Girl (OMG!)" starring Young Superstar Judy Ann Santos and Ogie Alcasid.

The award-winning actress said she was personally invited by Alcasid to be part of the film.

"Sabi ko late ka na kasi naka-oo na ako. Kasi Judai and Ogie are two of the very, very few artista friends that I have,” the Megastar said.

Cuneta shared that she will be portraying a fake fortune teller on the much-awaited comedy film. Under the direction of Dante Nico Garcia, "OMG" will be shown this coming July 29 in theaters nationwide.

Aside from "OMG", Cuneta is also thrilled over her upcoming film "Mano Po 6: My Mother" under Regal Films. "Mano Po" tells the story of  a mother who will do anything to get back her daughter.

She said that playing a mother character in a movie is one of her favorite roles to play. However, she said her "Mano Po" film role is more challenging because it requires her to speak Chinese.

"Napaka-motherly ako, napaka-nurturing ako, maternal ako. It will be challenging for me in another life, kasi you are going to portray the role of somebody na galing sa ibang kultura, iba ang salita, hindi ba? Ang ganda lang isipin na ang dami kong matutunan at ang dami ko pang gagawin na hindi ko pa nagagawa," Cuneta said.

"Mano Po 6" with Cuneta will be shot in Thailand, according to the film's producer Mother Lily Monteverde.

Cuneta, who was in the United States for almost a month for her Megathirty Concert, last appeared in the Star Cinema comedy film "Best Friends Forever" with Comedy Queen Ai Ai delas Alas.
