MANILA -- After receiving numerous requests from fans, veteran performer Gary Valenciano had no choice but to stage a repeat of his successful concert "Arise."
"Arise," which marks Valenciano's 30 years in show business, was first staged as a two-night concert at the Araneta Coliseum last April.
But while the concert is billed as "Arise Gary V 3.0 The Repeat," Valenciano said he has added new numbers to the original repertoire.
So we are trying to give the people the best of what we did the first time," Valenciano explained.
The singer-dancer also said he is excited to perform at the SM Mall of Asia Arena for the first time.
"Mayroong ibang makikita ang mga tao, visuals. With regards to surprise guests, we are working on one na sana talaga ay matuloy kasi hindi pa nangyayari ito in a long time," he said, without divulging the identity.
So I'm hoping.
Still joining Valenciano in the concert are his children Gabriel, Kiana and Paolo.
