MANILA, Philippines (1st UPDATE) - Hunk actor John Lloyd Cruz has ruled out the possibility of doing any movie or television project with girlfriend Shaina Magdayao.

Cruz said he is closing his doors to any project that will pair him with the young actress. The actor added that even if the project has a good storyline and it will be directed by an award-winning filmmaker, he still won’t accept it.

Cruz, who was crowned Box Office King for 3 consecutive years, stressed that he wants to keep his relationship with Magdayao private.

Magdayao, he said, also shares the same opinion.

"Hindi sa ayaw na muna. Ayaw namin. It's not an option... No chance," he said.

Cruz was interviewed exclusively by ABS-CBN Europe News Bureau in Belfast, Ireland where the actor, along with Angelica Panganiban, Diether Ocampo and Dennis Padilla, did a road show.

Last month, Cruz put all speculations to rest after admitting that Magdayao is his girlfriend. He also admitted that he had a "special relationship" with actress-host Ruffa Gutierrez, his co-star in the now defunct TV series "I Love Betty La Fea."

Asked if his relationship with Gutierrez and Magdayao had “overlapped,” the actor answered in the negative.

“Nagkausap sila at nagkaayos na. So, tapos na,” he added.

Currently, Cruz is busy taping for his first fantasy TV series, “Imortal,” alongside this year's FHM sexiest woman Angel Locsin.

Cruz said he is excited to work with Locsin, who he praised for being professional.
