Film director Anthony Taylor dies
MANILA, Philippines -- Veteran film director Anthony Taylor passed away on Wednesday afternoon due to cardiac arrest. He was 71.
According to talent manager Manny Valera, Taylor suffered a heart attack at the house of singer and businesswoman Claire dela Fuente.
Taylor was then rushed to the Ospital ng Mandaluyong but was declared dead on arrival.
Taylor directed the sexy films "Unang Gabi," "Climax" at "Hayok," as well as the film "Dyesebel" in 1978.
He was also a radio host and also worked as an actor in films such as "Pido Dida: Sabay Tayo," "Dahas" and "Walang Kawala."
"After Directors Mario O'Hara and Tony Espejo, Direk Anthony Taylor has joined them in the after life. It really comes in threes," Valera tweeted.
