LONDON – Actress Angelica Panganiban was one of the crowd drawers in the recently-held Barrio Fiesta in London, with more than 60,000 people attending the 2-day event last weekend.

Panganiban performed on Saturday, along with other stars such as Gerald Anderson, Giselle Sanchez and Jed Madela.

She was elated for the warm reception of Pinoys in the UK.

“Sana, patuloy lang silang sumuporta. Maraming salamat dahil isa ako sa naimbita dito at sana hindi ito ang ang last na pagpunta sa Barrio Fiesta,” she said.

But Panganiban was evasive in discussing the ‘affairs of the heart’.’ She freshly broke up with her boyfriend of five years, Derek Ramsey. Both have not detailed the reason for the break up, but Ramsey cited his lack of time for the failed relationship.

Asked how she is coping with being single again, Panganiban said, “Okay naman ako. Oo naman, happy”.

She also said she is not on the prowl and will not be able to entertain suitors because of her busy schedule at work.

“Sobrang daming projects. Dire-diretso lang ang trabaho,” the actress said.

“Mga next week na busy ako ngayon e, ang dami kong gaagawin pag-uwi ko na lang ng Pilipinas at saka ayaw ko ng long distance. Siguro hindi dito,” she jokingly said.

She was also alluding to the question if she was open to fall in love with someone from another country.

After performing in London, Panganiban also flew to Nice to entertain Pinoys in another TFC-organized event.

She said if she had more free time, she would have wanted to stay and see more of Europe.

“Sana makabalik ako dito for vacation naman,” said Panganiban.
