MANILA, Philippines – Zanjoe Marudo said he is enjoying his single life now.

In a press conference for Star Cinema’s “Cinco,” Marudo said he is focusing his attention on his family, friends and work.

Marudo and actress-television host Mariel Rodriguez have dated for years before they split up this year.

According to Rodriguez, their relationship started to get rocky after their Asian cruise in April. Since both Rodriguez and Marudo were not vocal about the status of their relationship, different speculations about the break-up have surfaced.

For one, Robin Padilla's "extra-closeness" to Rodriguez has allegedly caused a strain on their relationship. Rodriguez, however, denied this, saying there was no third party involved.

Another speculation was that Marudo decided to prioritize his work over their relationship.

Up until today, the 2 are mum on the real reason behind their break-up.

But Rodriguez and Marudo, who are both part of "Cinco," maintained that they have already moved on.
